About this item: The inspiration behind this product comes from Patrick's involvement in the 1993 All-Star Celebrity Home-Run Challenge. We envisioned what his player exclusives (PE's) would look like if he were a baseball player. To bring this vision to life, we created four distinct sneakers that pay homage to the original New York baseball teams. Our latest release takes us to Brooklyn, a significant stop on our homage to this city's baseball history. The team represented by this design played a crucial role in breaking the color barrier in baseball back in 1947. The player it honors is considered one of the greatest athletes to have ever graced the professional sports scene and paved the way for future generations of colored athletes. His jersey number is retired league-wide, a testament to his impact on the sport. The color scheme of this particular design draws inspiration from the team's road uniform worn during the groundbreaking 1947 season. Featuring a royal blue upper with subtle touches of grey wool on the toe box, panels, and tongue, this sneaker captures the essence of the era. The tongue showcases a unique baseball logo created exclusively for this collection. Each pair of the Rogue "Brooklyn" comes in a special blue and red box, reflecting the team's colors.
